My Family

 Hey! So, I wanted to introduce my family really quickly. They are the people who have influenced me the most to live for the Lord, and they make being a Christian fun!


This is Dad and Mom - my hero and heroine who led me to the Lord when I was 10, and who have shown me the right way to live as a God-honoring daughter of the Lord. Both of their testimonies of coming to know the Lord are amazing and touch my heart every time I hear it! I love them both so much!


This is my Bethie. : ) AKA, Elisabeth... writer, (both of songs and of books,) reader, and the lady who has shown me how to prepare myself for my future husband. She's an awesome older sister!

These two guys here are my brothers... Silas, (who's 16,) is on the right, and Micah, (who's 13,) is on the left. They both love football and sports, and can be a bit weird at times. : ) 

This is my older brother, Joshua, my sister-in-law Tabitha, and their kids: Liberty, Freedom, Victory, and Patriot. Since Josh and Tabitha are also my youth pastor and youth pastor's wife, they have also influenced me to live for the Lord, even at home. They have also shown me that serving God is the best life ever! In fact, Josh is even the assistant-to-the-pastor at Victory Springs. I love them all so much!



This is my sister, Brenna, and her husband, AJ. (Top photo.) They work the bus ministry at Victory Springs, and have shown me how to really love those kids from the neighborhoods they reach. These two are the people who sparked my love for working in Junior Church 'cause they make it fun! I love them both so much!

The picture beneath them are my two adorable Blankenship nephews - Asa, (left,) and Azariah, (right). They are both so cute! Gotta love those cheeks! 

So this is my family. God has really blessed me with these awesome people who influence me to live for the Lord! I could've been born anywhere else and at any other time, but God, in his divine grace and ultimate wisdom had me grown up with these wonderful people by my side! I am truly blessed!

 Hey there! My name is Callie Gimenez and the purpose of this blog is to show what my life is like as a pastor's kid. First and foremost, all blessings in this life come ultimately from God, and I am truly blessed beyond measure with the wonderful (and maybe a tad crazy), family He has given me! : ) Here is all of us at our family Valentine Banquet. My Testimony

 Hi! As you know by now, I am a Baptist pastor's daughter. So, from a young age, I was raised hearing the gospel and hearing about the only way I could go to Heaven when I died. So, for this post, I thought I would share with you my testimony of coming to know the Lord as my personal Savior. But this means I have to start from the very beginning!  Even before I was born, I was hearing about Jesus and how He died for our sins. I was born in Quebec, Canada in May of 2010, while my family was at language school learning French. You see, my family was called to the French West Indies as missionaries where my Dad was born and raised for the first part of his life. But, needing to know the language, they moved to Canada temporarily to learn French. And then, I was born!  After a little while, we finally moved to the French West Indies, where we served for 2 and a half years and were able to reach 3 quarters of the island with the gospel.
