Biblical Femininity (Intro/Part 1)

 Hey everyone!

There are so many things I want to do on this blog, but when I was in our teen class this Sunday, I knew exactly what I was going to do after my testimony post. I'm really hoping to use this blog to help other girls my age, so I was super excited to get ideas from our teen class's first split class. By that, I mean us girls had a teen class led by my sister-in-law, Tabitha, (also my youth pastor's wife,) and the guys were in another room doing their own class. 

Tabitha gave an intro for a series we will be learning on Sunday mornings on Biblical Femininity, and it was so good! So, I will be giving my notes on that series here. I hope it helps you just as much as it is helping me! 

 

Really quickly, I want to challenge you - are you living as a child of the King? Are you living as a daughter of the Lord? Is the attitude you have and the spirit you give off refreshing to others? In Genesis, the Bible talks about how after the flood, the daughters of men ruined their husbands and, with that, ruined the world. The way they were acting was not pleasing to God! 

How are you influencing the people around you? Are you showing yourself as a "daughter of men", or as a daughter of God? Would your family say you are living as the Lord's child?

I hope this challenges you to consider the way you are living, in public, and even alone. Does how you live show that you are a daughter of the King?

This challenged me to live better inside my home, and I hope this helps you!

    Wow, this really hit me deeply. This definitely made me think about how I’m living as a daughter of a king. Thank you so much for this reminder and I can’t wait to hear more about this series!

 Hey there! My name is Callie Gimenez and the purpose of this blog is to show what my life is like as a pastor's kid. My Family

 Hey! So, I wanted to introduce my family really quickly. They are the people who have influenced me the most to live for the Lord, and they make being a Christian fun! This is Dad and Mom - my hero and heroine who led me to the Lord when I was 10, and who have shown me the right way to live as a God-honoring daughter of the Lord. Both of their testimonies of coming to know the Lord are amazing and touch my heart every time I hear it! I love them both so much! This is my Bethie. : ) AKA, Elisabeth... writer, (both of songs and of books,) reader, and the lady who has shown me how to prepare myself for my future husband. She's an awesome older sister! My Testimony

 Hi! As you know by now, I am a Baptist pastor's daughter. So, from a young age, I was raised hearing the gospel and hearing about the only way I could go to Heaven when I died. So, for this post, I thought I would share with you my testimony of coming to know the Lord as my personal Savior. But this means I have to start from the very beginning!  Even before I was born, I was hearing about Jesus and how He died for our sins. I was born in Quebec, Canada in May of 2010, while my family was at language school learning French. You see, my family was called to the French West Indies as missionaries where my Dad was born and raised for the first part of his life. But, needing to know the language, they moved to Canada temporarily to learn French. And then, I was born!  After a little while, we finally moved to the French West Indies, where we served for 2 and a half years and were able to reach 3 quarters of the island with the gospel.
